Bishkek, June 7, 2024. /Kabar/. The special tax regime of the High Technology Park (HTP) is planned to be made permanent, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov told at the Kyrgyz Information Technology Forum (KIT) 2024.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that today domestic IT specialists are well known abroad, many of them work remotely and directly in companies that are leaders in digital technologies.
“HTP plays an important role in this. I am proud to note that we proposed to make the HTP regime permanent, retaining all benefits and preferences, giving our talented IT specialists the opportunity to conduct digital business here in Kyrgyzstan and attract investments. The corresponding draft law is in second reading in the Jogorku Kenesh and, I hope, will be supported by deputies,” he said.
The Hi-Tech Park is a special legal and tax regime applicable to HTP residents, establishing tax exemptions and benefits on insurance premiums in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
