Sportsman from Kyrgyzstan becomes champion of Thailand in volleyball

Bishkek, Mar. 18, 2019. /Kabar/. A sportsman from Kyrgyzstan Roman Shilov, who plays for Air Force Thai volleyball club, became the champion of Thailand, the Volleyball Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The finals of the tournament was held in Thailand on March 17, where Diamond Food Saraburi team competed with Air Force. In the decisive meeting, the team managed to confidently defeat its opponents with a score of 3:1 and regain the title of champion of the country.

The federation noted that Shilov started the matches from the bench and went on as a substitute.

Last season, Air Force took second place, then another player from the Kyrgyz national team, Onol Kanybek uulu, played for them.
