Sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan to participate in Fourth Islamic Solidarity Games in Azerbaijan

Bishkek, April 13 / Kabar /. The combined teams of Kyrgyzstan in different sports will participate in the Fourth Islamic Solidarity Games in Azerbaijan, the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The games will be held from May 12 to May 22, 2017 in Baku.

The Fourth Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in 21 sports: basketball 3x3, boxing, wrestling, water polo, volleyball, handball, judo, zorkhan, karate, athletics, swimming, diving, table tennis, gymnastics, shooting, tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, wushu, football and rhythmic gymnastics.

The games are expected to involve more than 3,000 athletes and officials from 49 national Olympic committees.

Kyrgyzstan will take part in 11 kinds of sports.
