BISHKEK, Aug. 16, 2017 / Kabar /. The sports delegation of Kyrgyzstan will perform at the World Universiade in China, which will be held from 19 to 30 August 2017 in Taipei, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports reported. Sportsmen from Kyrgyzstan will compete in these competitions in the following kinds of sports: athletics, judo, taekwondo WTF. The sports delegation of the republic included 11 people, 2 athletes in track and field athletics, four in judo, one in taekwondo WTF and four coaches.
The program of the Universiade includes competitions in 21 kinds of sports: badminton, basketball, baseball, water polo, volleyball, golf, judo, track and field, table tennis, swimming, diving, roller sports, gymnastics, archery, Tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, wushu, fencing, football, artistic gymnastics.
