Spring conscription starts in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 1, 2021. / Kabar /. A spring conscription began in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the republic’s Ministry of Defense said on Monday.

"In accordance with requirements of the Law "On the Universal Duty of Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on Military and Alternative Service," the spring conscription campaign to the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic starts on March 1, 2021," the report says.

Citizens who have reached the age of 18 have already passed the initial enrollment in the military register.

Ceremonial send-offs of conscripts who will go to the place of further military service will be held at the collection points of the republic according to the approved schedule.

Conscripts (more than 3,000 people) will serve in formations and units of the Ministry of Defense, the State Border Service, the State Committee for National Security, the State Service for Execution of Punishments of the Kyrgyz Republic.
