Spring field work almost completed in south of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 6, 2020. /Kabar/. For today, spring field work in Osh Oblast is almost completed, Deputy Governor of the Oblast Ahmadzhan Makhammadov said at a news briefing.

According to him, just yesterday sowing works were completed in Chong-Alay valley.

"Wheat was sown in the area of 22 thousand hectares, barley - 16 thousand hectares, early ripening crops - 1 thousand 600 hectares. This year, 1,200 hectares more was allocated for wheat sowing due to the situation in the country," he said.

"As of May 5, KGS 135 million in loans had been issued to support agriculture," Makhammadov added.
