Spring field work begins in two regions of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2021. / Kabar /. This year's spring field work began earlier than last year, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Agriculture Ministry.

In Aravan region of Osh Oblast and Leilek region of Batken Oblast, plowing began earlier compared to last year, and now farmers have plowed 600 hectares of land.

Barley is currently being planted on 500 hectares in Leilek region.

Potatoes were planted on 89 hectares in Aravan region, which is 27 hectares more than last year.
