“This is 11.1 thousand hectares more than last year's level,” Kerimaliev said.

He noted that spring plowing was performed on an area of ​​291.1 thousand ha, or 47.4% of the total volume, which is 37.3 thousand ha more than in 2019.

Kerimaliev emphasized that the sowing of grain crops was by 90% completed in Batken and Chui regions.

However, he noted that there are no problems with the acquisition of seeds. Security is 90%.

Kerimaliev also noted that wheat and barley are being sown at a high rate. “To date, 173.4 thousand ha or 56.4% of the planned plan has already been sown in the republic, which is 24.8 thousand ha more than the same period in 2019,” the deputy minister said.

In addition, he said that sugar beet is sowing at a good pace.

“3.44 thousand hectares or 24.5% have already been sown. 3.4 thousand hectares were sown in Chui oblast, and sowing has already begun in Talas oblast,” said Kerimaliev.
