Stand about Kyrgyzstan named most authentic at tourist exhibition in Turkey

Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2018 / Kabar /. The stand about Kyrgyzstan received an award at the 22nd International Tourism Exhibition East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT), which is taking place these days in Istanbul. The organizers of the exhibition recognized it as the most authentic, the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games – 2018 reported.

"From the first day of the exhibition, the stand telling about our republic attracted a lot of attention of visitors and participants of the event. A real, full-sized yurt was installed there, Komuz players played on this national music instrument. Guests could also taste national dishes and drinks made in Kyrgyzstan, get acquainted with various information about the tourist potential of the republic. As a result of the contest among country stands, the organizers noted the work of the Kyrgyz people with a special award," the report said.

Istanbul hosts the 22nd international tourist exhibition East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT) on Jan. 25-28. This is one of the world's biggest events of this kind. The USAID BGI project supported the participation of Kyrgyz tour operators in the exhibition.
