Bishkek, Feb. 7 / Kabar /. The State Tax Service (STS) of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Kyrgyzstan have launched a joint project to improve the human resource capacity of tax officials, the press service of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The signing ceremony of the Protocol on the implementation of the project was held at the press center of the Ministry. The event was attended by Chairman of the State Tax Service Octyabr Abdykaimov, his deputy Rasym Aidralieva, Permanent Representative of JICA Kazuhiko Kikuchi and others.
Chairman of the Tax Service stressed the importance of the project to create a system of increasing staff potential of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The project is designed for three years and consists of two components: the development of human resources in the Tax Service and the development of training modules (training program) for each course separately, including the introduction of distance learning, which is especially in demand in Kyrgyzstan.
"The result of the project will be the increase of the capacity of tax employees, which, in turn, positively affect the efficiency of tax service," the head of the Tax Service said.
In conclusion, the head of the SOT Kazuhiko Kikuchi thanked for their support of the project and assured that the agency will make every effort for its successful implementation.
Permanent Representative of the Japan Agency JICA Kazuhiko Kikuchi said that this year Kyrgyzstan and Japan mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Kazuhiko Kikuchi expressed confidence in achieving the goals set in the joint project.
