Stones thrown by Tajik at car of Kyrgyz presidential envoy in Batken Oblast

Bishkek, July 30, 2021. / Kabar /. Citizens of Tajikistan have thrown stones at a car in which Kyrgyzstan's deputy residential envoy in Batken Oblast was traveling, Kabar News Agency has learnt from the press service of Batken Oblast Internal Affairs Department.

According to the Information, the incident occurred on Thursday at around 8:00 p.m.

"Tajik citizens threw stones at the car of Ak-Sai village head. Deputy presidential envoy in Batken Oblast was also inside," the report said.

The fact was registered under "Hooliganism" Article of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

After that, talks were held between a leadership of Batken Oblast Internal Affairs Department and a leadership of the Isfara police department.

As a result, the Tajik side will compensate for the damage caused.
