Bishkek, Sept.24, 2019. /Kabar/. On Sept. 23, 2019 New Delhi hosted meeting of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India Aseyin Isayev and India’s Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh.
The press service of the Indian Defence Ministry said that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the strengthening of military-technical cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and India.
The sides stressed cooperation in this direction is based on mutual interests to preserve peace, stability and security on the Asian continent.
This direction is supported by a number of projects, aimed at supporting the overall process of filling the level of strategic partnership between the two countries. Among these projects, a special place is occupied by the creation of a military field hospital, which will carry out peacekeeping activities under the UN flag in the hotspots of different countries of the world.
Regular joint exercises and biomedical research on mining training are conducted between countries.
The ambassador and the minister agreed to deepen military-technical cooperation, implement joint projects, share experience in the military sphere, which India is successfully developing.
India ranks 4th in the world in terms of military capabilities and 3rd in terms of military strength.
