Strong wind in Uzbekistan kills one person, 30 others injured

Tashkent, Apr. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. A strong wind in Uzbekistan's Bukhara Region on Apr. 27 killed one man and injured 30 others in varying degrees, the Uzbek Emergency Ministry's press service said.

Five people have been hospitalized, one of whom is in serious condition. Winds in Bukhara Region were reported to have reached 9-40 m/s.

Over 120 damage to gas pipelines and other facilities have been found in the region, and more than 138 thousand houses have been temporarily disconnected from the gas supply.
