Bishkek, Jan.30, 2020. /Kabar/. Belarusian capital city of Minsk hosted the Crystal Abacus International mental arithmetic Olympiad.
Artem Merkin, a 3rd grade student at one of the capital’s schools, took part in the Olympiad.
The event was attended by representatives of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus.
More than 100 children from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China competed in solving arithmetic problems at speed.
At the end of the Olympiad, Kyrgyzstan’s Merkin won the title of "Super Champion".
Artem also took part in the entertainment program of the Olympiad in a Kyrgyz national costume with a video about Kyrgyzstan, playing Dobulbas (percussion musical instrument), while counting the numbers on the screen.
Artem participated in 13 mental arithmetic Olympiads held in Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Malaysia.
The Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus congratulates the winner and wishes him further success.
