Bishkek, Nov.13, 2019. /Kabar/. Students from Kyrgyzstan will be able to participate in alternative Olympiad, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Nadira Dzhusupbekova told reporters at Kabar News Agency.
She said now schoolchildren will be able to take part not only in the annual Republican Olympiad, but also to try their hand at the alternative Olympiad to participate in international competitions in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics and computer science.

The qualifying round will be held online and offline during the academic year.
“First and second stages will start in December of this year and last until January 2020 in the online mode. The third and fourth stages are from February to April offline.
I would like to note students can also participate in parallel in the Republican Olympiad. Participants with the highest overall rating score at the 3rd stage of the alternative Olympiad will participate in the 4th round of the Republican Olympiad," the deputy education minister said.
Dzhusupbekova added the medalists of the previous year's International Olympiads (IMO, IBO, IOI, IPHO, ICHO) can participate in the final, bypassing the previous stages and the Republican Olympiad of this year.
