Students of Bishkek share their vision of development of Russian-Kyrgyz interstate relations

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. An expert youth discussion took place in Bishkek: “Interstate Relations of Russia and Kyrgyzstan: History of Development and Prospects.”

The event was attended by scientists, political scientists, public figures and youth leaders of the capital.

In the framework of the discussion, the stages and directions of development of interstate relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, the interaction of Russia and Kyrgyzstan in the economic and humanitarian spheres, issues of international and regional security were considered.

The event was organized by the Eurasians - New Wave Foundation.

Director of the branch of the Eurasians - New Wave Foundation in the Kyrgyz Republic Vladimir Liu told that young people need to be informed about the main directions of interstate cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

“Despite the fact that the current interstate cooperation between the two countries was established less than 30 years ago, the Kyrgyz-Russian diplomatic relations have a long history. Russia has been and remains an important strategic partner for Kyrgyzstan. How this cooperation will develop in the future depends on the youth of the two countries,” the Director of the branch said.
