Students of IUK began to receive double diplomas - local and European

Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2018. / Kabar /. The students of the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) can receive two diplomas at once, studying both in the country and abroad, rector of the IUK Ainura Adiyeva told at Kabar news Agency.

She said that the introduced innovation in the education system Double Diploma contributes to resolve many of the problems faced by the guys.

"Under the guidance of Academician Asylbek Aidaraliev, IUK is doing a lot of work to reform educational programs and introduce new teaching technologies, the principles of the Bologna system in the educational process. One of the achievements is that in 2014 the university began developing a program of Double diplomas, and sandwich programs, which in their essence are unique," Adieva said.

The rector explained that their students can get two diplomas both of their university and a partner university, which they will choose (Europe, China, Asia) at all levels - bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies.

Adieva also explained what isa sandwich-program. She said that this project contributes to providing a flexible system of educational services, using such indicators as variability, alternative choice of training and broadens the trajectory of obtaining students' knowledge.

At present, the University has concluded 20 agreements, with such countries as Slovakia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, India, Turkey, China. "All partner universities, with whom we cooperate, have passed international accreditation, that is, graduates will be able to find jobs in the international labor market," the rector emphasized.

By the way, the guys can study abroad: first year in India, second in Turkey.

For today, two groups have been prepared, one going to the University of Warsaw, the other to Rome.

Vice rector for international relations Kalmurat Jangaziyev told about the forms of education.

"Our student, being trained, the first year in the country, has the right to go to the partner university in the second year. The admission process: we choose a university, more often it is Eastern Europe, since it is cheaper to study there, high quality teaching and these countries are culturally closer to the post-Soviet space. After the university is selected, we send letters, draft agreements, including financial ones, where we reduce the cost of training at times," added Jangaziyev.

Kamila Massanova said that this is a real experience. She has already visited Bulgaria, where she received a lot of positive emotions, knowledge, acquaintance, practical skills.

Nikita Malakhov dreamed from childhood of enrolling in an Italian university, when he learned about this opportunity in IUK, he immediately filed an application for admission to this university. At the moment he is preparing to go to study in the coveted university.

The program "Double Diploma" began in 2015, according to it last year 15 people left, this 12 to Poland, 6 to Italy.
