Summit of Cooperation Council of countries of Gulf and Central Asia kicks off in Jeddah

Jeddah, July 19, 2023. /Kabar/. In the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia today, on July 19, the summit of the heads of state "Central Asia - Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf" has started.

The meeting is attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov. The head of state arrived at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

The summit is also attended by the heads of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, as well as Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

The leaders of the countries will discuss the development of interregional cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
