Bishkek, Feb. 16, 2024. /Kabar/. At the World Championships in Qatar, Kyrgyz swimmer Denis Petrashov took 10th place in the 200-meter breaststroke, the domestic Aquatics Federation reported.
“The fight was incredibly difficult, at times simply exhausting. Unlike other disciplines, breaststroke brought together the best swimmers on the planet. These are the guys who will fight for Olympic medals in Paris. Denis is making steady progress and closing the gap with the leaders in this discipline over and over again. A split second was not enough this time to qualify for the finals,” the federation shared.
At the same time, they noted that all his compatriots were rooting for the athlete and wished him success in his future performances.
