Swimmers from Kyrgyzstan won five medals at Central Asian Championship in Ashgabat

Bishkek, April 27 / Kabar /. Swimmers from Kyrgyzstan won five medals on the first day of the Central Asian Championship in Ashgabat.

The Swimming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, the Central Asian Swimming Championship is held in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) on April 26-27.

Kyrgyzstan is represented by 5 sportsmen: Vladislav Shuliko, Artem Kamarda, Temirlan Karataev, Stanislav Karnaukhov, Kristina Panasenko.

The first competitive day on April 26, athletes from Kyrgyzstan managed to win five medals of different dignity.

Stanislav Karnaukhov (100 meters, freestyle), Kristina Panasenko (50 meters, breaststroke) and Vladislav Shuliko (50 meters, butterfly) became champions of Central Asia.

In the swim among men at 50 meters "butterfly" Stanislav Karnaukhov finished after Vladislav Shuliko and became the owner of the silver medal.

In the men's relay 4x50 meters, the national team of Kyrgyzstan won bronze medals.
