Swiss businessmen interested in investment projects in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2023. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is one of the attractive areas of activity for Swiss businessmen.

A meeting between President of the Trade and Industry Board of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev and Director of the United Chamber of Commerce of Switzerland Dorita Sallis was held on Thursday by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Swiss Confederation.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the parties discussed via video conference the prospects for further cooperation in the following areas:

 banking and financial services;

 textile industry;

 production and trade of agricultural products, as well as attracting Swiss investment in this industry;

 construction of small and medium hydroelectric power stations;

 technology transfer;

 development of tourism.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue consultations in order to establish working contacts between the business circles of the two countries to discuss specific projects.
