System for admission to universities to be automated in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb.18, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, the university enrolment system will be automated, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nurlan Omurov said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.

Omurov expressed hope that in the future students will apply for admission, learn the results of the contest electronically.

"Today, within three days students should choose a university, bypass all universities, throw tickets for nationwide testing and wait for the results. In this regard, we want to automate the information system, where applicants will be able to register online the tickets for a particular university and specialty and in the same way find out how many coupons were dropped," Omurov assured.

In his opinion, the project will first of all make life easier for applicants from the regions.
