The Border Service of Kyrgyzstan continues to carry out activities aimed at stabilizing the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border.
The clashes on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border started on September 14.
According to the Board Guard Service of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan attacked border guarding and civilian infrastructure objects of Kyrgyzstan along the perimeter of the state border in Batken Oblast.
On September 16 evening, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan reached agreement on ceasefire. However, the Tajik side having violated the previously reached agreements, fired mortars at Kyrgyz villages in another Osh Oblast of Kyrgyzstan on Saturday.
