Dushanbe, Oct. 12, 2018. / Kabar /. Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda summed up the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.
He noted that today there are representatives of domestic and foreign media, and this indicates the increased attention of the public of member states, observer states, other states and international organizations to the activities of the SCO.
"This meeting of the heads of government of the SCO member states is important for the implementation of the provisions of the organization’s documents, as well as the tasks set by the heads of state to optimize economic cooperation among the SCO member countries, including further uncovering the organization’s significant potential in all areas of its activities its expansion through new members,” he said.
He said that during the meeting, a meaningful exchange of views on issues of international, regional and economic development took place, prospects and measures to deepen trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation within the framework of the SCO were discussed.
