Bishkek, May 25, 2022 / Kabar /. Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to UN Jonibek Hikmat met with the Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin, NIAT Khovar reported.
The meeting focused on the preparation for the Second International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” to be held from June 6 through June 9 in Dushanbe and the participation of Zhenmin as the co-chair of the Conference at the event.
The parties also exchanged views on the importance of the Dushanbe Second Water Conference for the UN 2023 Water Conference.
