Tajikistan’s invasion. Kyrgyz investigation team collects evidences

Today, the socio-political and criminogenic situations are under the control of law enforcement agencies, Deputy Head of the Public Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Ismailov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He said that law enforcement officers of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan continue patrolling in the border villages.

“The interdepartmental investigation group continues its work in the Leilek and Batken regions, i.e. inspection of all residential premises, commercial facilities, social institutions. Work also continues on the disposal of unexploded ordnance and ammunition. In addition, material evidence is being collected,” Ismailov said.

The Tajik side attacked border guarding and civilian infrastructure objects of Kyrgyzstan along the perimeter of the state border in Batken Oblast. Tajikistan used heavy armored vehicles, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and aircraft in an attempt to seize the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Tajik military destroyed the infrastructure of outposts, as well as schools, kindergartens, retail outlets, first-aid posts, and houses.
