Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2019. / Kabar /. Residents of the Tajik enclave Vorukh threw stones at a car of Kyrgyz citizen in Batken Oblast, the press service of the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The incident occurred on Apr. 28. The head of Ak-Sai village was heading to pasture through the enclave of Vorukh, when residents of a neighboring state threw stones at his car. As a result, the windshield of a Kyrgyz citizen’s car was broken.
“The same day a meeting of the border representatives of the two countries took place. As a result of the negotiations, the Tajik side admitted its guilt and paid damages to the citizen of Kyrgyzstan. The situation at the border is stable and controlled,” the press service of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic explained.
