Bıshkek, Dec. 25, 2020 /Kabar/. Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov awarded presidential scholarships to 70 best students of higher educational institutions of the country, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
Addressing the participants of the event, the acting president noted this year, the crisis caused by the pandemic of coronavirus infection became the impetus for the introduction of new innovations in the education system.
"The Ministry of Education and Science adopted an anti-crisis plan, thanks to the implementation of which the process in all educational institutions was not suspended. We switched to online learning. Also, these events reminded about the important role of teachers," noted Talant Mamytov.
The acting head of state noted that today's event brought together the best university students of the country.
Talant Mamytov expressed the hope that the scholarship holders will become the pride of the people and an example for the younger generation, people who will develop and glorify Kyrgyzstan in the future.
70 best students of the country from 29 universities have become the recipients of the 2019-2020 Presidential Scholarship.
