Talant Mamytov holds talks with chairman of Senate of Kazakh Parliament

Bishkek, April 16, 2021. / Kabar /. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov met with Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev. The meeting was held on April 16 in St. Petersburg as part of the participation in the meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported.

Talant Mamytov noted with satisfaction that the historically established friendly relations between the two fraternal peoples today find a worthy continuation. “I consider it extremely important and timely to develop and strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan for the benefit of our peoples. Our parliaments maintain close interaction within the framework of the parliamentary assemblies of the CIS, CSTO, as well as the TurkPA and other inter-parliamentary organizations,” the speaker said.

In turn, the Kazakh speaker confirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to the development of traditionally fraternal relations with Kyrgyzstan and the intention to continue actively deepening and expanding the partnership between the two countries.

During the conversation, the colleagues noted with satisfaction the results of the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to Kazakhstan in March this year. The sides expressed confidence that the implementation of the agreements reached by the heads of the two states will help bring the Kyrgyz-Kazakh cooperation to a higher level.
