Bishkek, April 16, 2021 . / Kabar / . Within the framework of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA), Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov met in St. Petersburg with Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on topical issues of development of friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported Friday.
Mamytov noted with regret that the trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Armenia is not very actively developing yet. Meanwhile, he stressed the high potential of the two countries for stable growth of mutual trade within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
At the same time, the Kyrgyz side expressed interest in attracting Armenian companies in the field of tourism to our market.
"In Kyrgyzstan, all sectors of the economy are open for investment projects without restrictions, the Government has created all necessary conditions for investors," added Speaker Mamytov.
At the end of the meeting, the speakers of the two countries stressed the need to deepen ties in the economy, culture and a number of other areas of mutual interest.
