As part of the working visit to the Russian Federation, Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov met with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported on Tuesday.
The event was also attended by Kyrgyz MPs and members of the EEC Board.
The sides discussed issues on the agenda of the upcoming session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, as well as the development of the Eurasian integration in general.
Opening the meeting, Mikhail Myasnikovich said the EEC works closely with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, and business ties are established.
He thanked the Kyrgyz Parliament speaker and parliamentarians for their great attention to the issues of Eurasian integration.
In his turn, Talant Mamytov noted the need to build a mechanism for developing solutions, including on the inter-parliamentary platform of the CIS countries.
He noted the Kyrgyz side is ready to assist in expanding foreign trade and economic relations of the Union, in establishing contacts with other countries, taking into account the synchronization with the removal of trade barriers between countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
At the same time, Mamytov stressed the Union's activities to establish international contacts with third countries should be synchronized with the complete removal of barriers, exceptions and restrictions within the EAEU.
