In the city of Buston, Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan, on January 26, 2024, a meeting was held between the co-chairs of the government delegations of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiev and Tajikistan Saimumin Yatimov on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting, the heads of government delegations discussed issues of delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border and gave specific instructions to the working groups of government delegations on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border to continue work on further determining the course of the border line of the two states in the remaining sections.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
