Tashkent to host regular meeting of SCO ministers of science and technology

Bishkek, April 4, 2022. / Kabar /. The sixth meeting of the heads of ministries and departments of science and technology of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states will be held on April 8, 2022 under the chairmanship of the Uzbek side, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides will discuss the Plan for Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the SCO member states for 2022-2025, the Program for Cooperation of the SCO Member States on the Development of Artificial Intelligence initiated by the Uzbek side and many other issues of scientific and technical cooperation.

Meetings of heads of ministries and departments of science and technology of the SCO member states have been held since 2010 and play the role of an effective platform for strengthening scientific, technological and innovation cooperation, and also help to build mutually beneficial cooperation between the SCO member states in the field of science and technology, the report said.
