Task groups on delimitation of Kyrgyz-Uzbek border will meet in Namangan

Bishkek, August 5 / Kabar /. The task group of the governmental delegation of Kyrgyzstan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border left for Uzbekistan. The next meeting will be held from 5 to 13 August 2017 in the Uzbek city of Namangan.

Since the resumption of the talks, from August 2016 to August 2017, task groups of government delegations held 15 meetings.

All meetings are held on a constructive basis and in a friendly atmosphere. As a result of the forthcoming talks of the task groups, a corresponding protocol will be signed.

The length of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan is 1 thousand 378 kilometers, of which 320 kilometers are not specified.
