Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2022 . / Kabar / . In 202, the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan collected KGS 105 billion 714 million of taxes and payments to the state budget, Chairman of the Tax Service Altynbek Abduvapov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added that the approved plan was fulfilled by 109.2%, or exceeded by KGS 8 billion 945.1 million.
"In comparison with 2020, tax revenues have increased by KGS 26.7 billion. The republican budget received KGS 86 billion 332.7 million. The approved plan was exceeded by 8.8%, or by KGS 6 billion 950 million. As compared to 2020, it is KGS 22.6 billion more (growth rate of 135.5%)," he said.
Abduvapov also said that the Tax Service exceeded the planned targets for taxes due to the work to improve tax administration and transfer entrepreneurs to online services.
"In particular, the SMART Salym tax procedures fiscalization projects, including electronic invoices, "Consolidated Post", marking of goods, and cash register have yielded their results. In addition, work was carried out to bring businesses out of the shadows, analyze and monitor all sectors of the economy, and administer indirect taxes in trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries. This year, the State Tax Service will collect KGS 155.6 billion in taxes," he said.
