Team of doctors of Kyrgyzstan to be formed to depart for affected areas of Turkey

Bishkek, Feb. 8, 2023 / Kabar/. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulnara Baatyrova today met with Turkish Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ahmet Sadyk Dogan, the ministry reports.

At the meeting, the minister noted that the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic is ready to provide medical assistance, help with medicines and medical supplies to those affected by the earthquake.

“The scale of the disaster in Turkiye, which led to numerous human casualties, shocked each of us to the core. Medical workers of Kyrgyzstan sincerely mourn together with the friendly Turkish people for the dead citizens as a result of a natural disaster. If medical assistance is needed, a team of doctors has been formed from the Kyrgyz side to send them to the affected regions of Turkiye,” the minister said.
