Tekebayev and Chotonov concluded in jail for 2 months

Bishkek, Feb. 28 / Kabar /. Omurbek Tekebayev and Duishon Chotonov imprisoned in the detention center of the State Committee for National Security for 2 months, the press service of the State Committee reported.

On February 25, 2017 the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic initiated a criminal case against leader of Ata Meken faction Omurbek Tekebayev and others accusing him of corruption and fraud.

On the basis of the collected materials on February 27, 2017 the deputy of Jogorku Kenesh Omurbek Tekebayev and Duishon Chotonov by the decision of the Pervomaisky district court of Bishkek a preventive measure is chosen to take him into custody until 25 April 2017.

Currently the investigation is underway.
