Bishkek, July 23, 2021. / Kabar / . A traffic accident on Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek-Torugart road claimed lives of 6 people.
The Internal Affairs Department of Chui Oblast reported that the accident involving two vehicles occurred on Thursday at about 10:30 p.m. on 107th km of Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart.
46-year-old driver of Mitsubishi Pajero was heading from west to east. His car collided with Honda Stepwagon, driven by 25-year-old man, who was heading from east to west.
As a result of the accident, the driver and 3 passengers of Honda Stepwagon died of their injuries on the spot.
2 passengers of onda Stepwagon died on July 23 morning in a territorial hospital.
In addition, 2 passengers of Honda Stepwagon are in hospital with various injuries.
During a medical examination it was established that the Mitsubishi Pajero driver was intoxicated.
