Terrorist group of 30 people detained in Tashkent

Tashkent, Jan. 27, 2022. / Kabar /. During the operation, carried out jointly with law enforcement agencies, a group of members of the Tavhid va Zhihod Katibati terrorist organization was detained in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate reported.

They held collective meetings on the territory of Tashkent and in the future planned to join the terrorist organizations operating in Syria.

The number of identified supporters of the organization is about 30 people, some of whom arrived in Tashkent from Andijan, Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions to work.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated on this fact, investigative actions are ongoing.

The activity of this organization is prohibited on the territory of Uzbekistan by the decision of the Supreme Court of September 26, 2016.
