Textile factory in Chui Oblast to be opened in 2022

Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2021 . / Kabar /. Bishkek hosted on Friday a meeting to discuss the upcoming opening of a new textile factory with a total area of 53 thousand square meters.

The Agency for Investment and Development of Kyrgyzstan reported that the factory will be opened in 2022 by Turkish investors.

The enterprise will be established on the basis of the former idle Kara-Balta carpet factory.

During the meeting, Acting Minister of Investment Nuradil Bayasov stressed the importance of each investor who comes to Kyrgyzstan and invest in domestic production, and also informed about the benefits provided by the state when importing raw materials and spare parts in the country.

In turn, founder and owner of Decna Bishkek Textile LLC Fyrat Deniz said that the construction of the textile factory will be completed in the near future.

Investments in the project, which is being implemented by Decna Bishkek Textile, is USD 25 million. USD 400 thousand were already invested in the construction of the factory.

"Thanks to the cluster approach, the future enterprise is unique in its industry, as it provides virtually waste-free production through the processing of textiles from yarn to subsequent fabrics.

The implementation of this project will create additional 800-1000 jobs. Today this project is very important in the situation with unemployment", the report said.
