Tashkent, March 22, 2020./Kabar/.The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan has reached 43, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported on Sunday.
The infection was detected in a citizen after arrival from Turkey's Istanbul. This is the second new case of COVID-19 to date.
According to official information, all cases were detected in the Uzbek capital city of Tashkent and one in Khorezm region.
In Uzbekistan, COVID-19 was first recorded on March 15.
