Bishkek, Mar.18, 2020./Kabar/. At briefing on Mar.18, Kyrgyzstan's Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbayev told about the identification of three cases of coronavirus in the country.
Thus, according to him, pilgrims who came from Saudi Arabia were on house quarantine. Doctors were doing periodic rounds.
"During one of these rounds, a woman in Suzak region (Dzhalal-Abad Oblast) was found to have a high temperature. "She and her closest relatives were hospitalized. Tests were taken from eight citizens, who were sent to an Osh laboratory, where three people were diagnosed with coronavirus.
Then, the tests were sent to Bishkek, where the data from the Osh laboratory were confirmed," he said, adding the woman herself had tested negative.
Minister Cholponbayev said the detected case was imported from Saudi Arabia.
He explained that when the pilgrims arrived, Mar. 12, Saudi Arabia was not among the countries with any level of danger. The case was discovered on Mar.16, and the results were released last night, on Mar.17.
"Coronavirus was confirmed in three men. Their ages are different - 70 years, 62 years and 46 years. Their condition for this morning is satisfactory," Cholponbayev said.
In addition, the health minister said on Mar.12, 135 people have arrived on this plane, 90 of whom have already been found and placed in examination.
Work is underway to determine the range of contacts for them, Kosmosbek Cholponbayev assured.
He said the work will be carried out according to common rules.
Whether a state of emergency will be introduced will become known after the Republican Headquarters meeting.
