Bishkek, March 24 / Kabar /. The incidence of tuberculosis continues gradually decline in Kyrgyzstan in 2016, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Talantbek Batyraliev said today at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
According to his data, in 2016, 5,653 newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients were registered, 94.8 cases per 100,000 people, and in 2015, 5,853, 98.2 cases per 100,000 people were identified (including penitentiary system).
"The level of tuberculosis incidence among adolescents in the republic in 2016 was 78.4 per 100 thousand people, in 2015 - 79.7 per 100 thousand people. Absolute numbers in 2016 revealed 239 teenagers, in 2015 - 243," he explained.
