Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2019. /Kabar/. Ethnic Kyrgyz people in China are citizens of the PRC (People’s Republic of China) and the situation there is considered an internal affair of this country, the candidate for the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to China Kanayim Baktygulova told at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security.
She noted that despite the fact that the situation in China is an internal matter of the state, representatives of the Middle Kingdom organized a visit for diplomats from 12 countries to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to familiarize themselves with the situation.
However, the candidate for the post of Ambassador promised to bear in mind this situation.
