Bishkek, Jan. 31, 2019. /Kabar/. The sphere of trade has become the most active recipient of guarantees of the Guarantee Fund OJSC, Chairman of the board of the Guarantee Fund OJSC Malik Abakirov told at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.

He said that since the beginning of 2018, the trade sector has received 24% of guarantees, agriculture and fishing – 20%, manufacturing – 18%, processing of agricultural products – 14%, tourism – 10%, services – 7%, transport – 6%, construction – 1%.

“If we take the regions, the distribution of guarantees is as follows: Bishkek – 25%, Chuy oblast – 17%, Naryn oblast – 17%, Osh oblast – 12%, Jalal-Abad oblast – 7%, Batken oblast – 7%, Issyk-Kul oblast – 8%, Osh – 4%, Talas oblast – 3%,” he said.

Abakirov added that in September 2018, an agreement was signed with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund on the second loan in the amount of 100 million soms.

“Since January 1, 2019, 13% of the loan funds have been spent. Guarantees in the amount of 13.2 million soms were issued for 5 projects. The previous loan worth one hundred million soms was received in the spring of 2018. The guarantees were then presented to 65 projects,” he noted.
