Bishkek, Mar. 13, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kyrgyz Republic Nikolay Udovichenko had a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov on the occasion of the start of his new diplomatic mission.
Having handed over the credentials to the head of state, a short conversation took place between the sides. The ambassador told about it to reporters after the ceremony.
“We talked about the tasks that we face in the development of Russian-Kyrgyz relations, including in the context of the upcoming visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to Bishkek,” the diplomat informed.
He stressed that the upcoming visit is important for both countries and, therefore, the sides are thoroughly preparing to carry it out.
“We expect it to be at a high level. Questions remain. They will still be discussed until the arrival. We have an inexhaustible agenda of dialogue. We will work on its fullest possible implementation,” the ambassador said.
He did not disclose the details of the negotiations between the two leaders, explaining that at the moment they cannot be described specifically. According to him, more information on the program of the visit will be known closer to the date of the event.
