There are 188 thsd right-hand drive cars in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2020 / Kabar /. There are 188 thousand right-hand drive cars in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the State Registration Service (SRS) of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

In total, more than 1 million cars are registered in the State Institution “Unaa” at the State Registration Service.

Most of the total number of vehicles are old, year of production of almost 934 thousand cars are earlier than 2005. About 100 thousand cars registered in Kyrgyzstan were produced from 10 to 15 years ago. 35 thousand more "fresh" cars produced in 2010-2015. There are five times less cars that have been produced over the past 5 years, the report said.
