Bishkek, July 7, 2020. /Kabar/. Currently, 572 ventilators are operating in Kyrgyzstan, 220 more are required, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a briefing.
According to him, the issue of bringing oxygen concentrators into the country is also being resolved.
"Last week, 500 oxygen concentrators have been purchased from China at the expense of the budget, they are put into operation. The concentrators also arrived from Uzbekistan and Turkey. In addition, our compatriots abroad have sent the units to their homeland, they have also been put into operation. Tomorrow, a plane with 200 oxygen concentrators purchased from the budget will arrive in Bishkek. In two days, 300 oxygen concentrators will also arrive in the capital," the prime minister said.
Boronov added that the issue of purchasing another 220 missing ventilators is being solved now.
