83 species of birds inhabit in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 23, 2019. /Kabar/. Scientists of the Biology Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan noted that 83 species of birds inhabit in Bishkek, the press service of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry reported.

Of these, 18 species are sedentary (permanently resident in the area). There are 13 bird species wintering in the territory of Bishkek, 32 species nest, and 16 bird species can be found on spring and autumn flights.

Birds inhabiting Bishkek belong to 13 groups and 33 families.

More than 270 species of birds inhabit in Chui Oblast, 18 of them belong to orders and 53 families.
