There are more than 85 thsd children of migrants in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2019. / Kabar /. There are more than 85 thousand children in Kyrgyzstan, whose parents are in migration, chief specialist of the department for the protection of children of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development Nazgul Cholumova told at the round table in Bishkek.

According to her data, today 85 thousand 904 children of migrants have been identified in the regions.

“Most of them live mainly in Osh oblast - almost 23 thousand children. But it should be noted that work in this direction continues. Thus, the figure can grow,” said Cholumova.

She also noted that to date, employees of relevant departments are working to inform the public about children's issues.

Recall that 511 special headquarters work throughout the country. Residents can contact these headquarters, where staff will consult them on all matters, including minor issues.
